Zack Snyder drops a clip of a violent brawl between Darkseid’s uncle and Wonder Woman’s fellow Amazons.
Today, Snyder once again communicated directly with his fanbase via Vero and revealed a short clip of his far deadlier and scary version of Steppenwolf. The filter used by Snyder makes the details hard to discern, but it certainly shows what can only be described as a bloodbath. That formidable ax makes short bloody work of an Amazon. From the look of the clip, all memory of the poor CG Steppenwolf from Joss Whedon’s theatrical cut is likely to be wiped from our memory banks. Snyder’s post from Vero can be seen below.
The short video shows the scene playing on a screen in Snyder’s editing bay, and it looks like Snyder is uncompromising in his violent vision.
Snyder’s R-rated vision for Justice League is finally coming together. We should get a better idea when the Justice League trailer arrives next Sunday.
